While we do have income to help cover our expenses, this income does not completely cover all the expenses. Our camps to children, youth groups, and families are of incredible value to the lives of those who attend. Many of our guests will make life changing decisions while they are here at The Grove. It's impossible to put a value on that, but we know it's important that we never lose the opportunity to lead people to a place in their lives where they can "Examine Their Own Lives, Experience God's Love and Express Compassion To Others." This is why we are here!
We hope you have had some time to look around our web site and get a good idea of what is we are doing here at The Grove at Red Oak Lake. If this idea of a camp and retreat center has touched something in your heart, maybe you would consider helping us with a financial gift of some sort. No gift has ever been too small, and every gift has been much appreciated and needed.
Second,
we have a great need to replenish and replace many
of the older but beautiful trees here on the campus.
Over the past 60 years, storms, disease and neglect
have taken their toll on the many, many trees that
add so much to the beautiful landscape here.
Currently, we are taking on a project to
reverse this by offering churches, families,
businesses and friends the opportunity to have a
tree planted in honor of a loved one. This is a very
important tree replanting program. Donations
for this memorial are being requested in the amount
of $500.00 per tree. The funds from this
memorial project will be used to plant new trees and
care for existing trees. Flags will be placed
throughout the campus in locations for desired tree
planting. We will plant the trees as we
receive the memorial gift and we will list the name
of the loved one on our memorial wall. Gifts can be
mailed to the address above and please be sure and
give us correct spelling of the name of your loved
one. Thanks for helping us to make a
difference.
